Cookeville Tennessee is my hometown. I moved here from Indianapolis about six years ago. It’s a small town located right in between Nashville and Knoxville on I40 in eastern Tennessee. We like it here alright, and there are some pretty cool things to see around town.

While I was on my home time, I decided to go around town and take some pictures of a few of our attractions. Just some of the things that appeal to me about Cookeville. We do have a small collection of street art and building murals. Here are some of my favorites.

We also have a pretty cool little park downtown called Dogwood Park. They have a fountain to cool off in in the summer time and an amphitheater where they have some small concerts and shows.

There are some pretty cool old signs in Cookeville, my favorite of which belongs to Cream City Ice Cream. Here they are on Facebook.

Ice cream, Coffee, gift cards, t-shirts, sweat shirts, campfire mugs, and so much more to finish out your Christmas list or to meet up with friends before all the Holiday festivities! Come see us today!!

There is also the Cookeville Depot Railroad Museum. They have an old train on display and a neat little museum on the premises. There’s also a really cool bike trail that starts under the arch pictured below.

Finally, our tour ends with the displays around the courthouse downtown.

Cookeville Tennessee is a pretty cool little town. If you’re ever in the area, stop by and take your own little tour. If you find something cool I missed, post it in the comments below.
